Head of Marketing at Shadow-Soft

  • Since joining Shadow-Soft, I've been busy building our marketing function, growing our awesome team, and enhancing our demand generation capabilities. In the past three years, we've increased website users 300% and increased marketing generated pipeline 900%.

2015-2017

Head of Marketing at Elucidat

  • After working with Elucidat for three months as a contractor, I jumped on board full time to build out a marketing and demand generation function. When I joined the company as the first marketing hire in 2015, it was a scrappy startup with about $1 million in annual recurring revenue and 5 employees. By the time I left, we had grown to over $5 million and 20 employees!

  • During my time at Elucidat, I had the opportunity to build an inbound marketing function and manage a team of content marketers. We focused on driving interest and demand through content, search, and email marketing initiatives.

  • I also built out the sales development and marketing operations function, including Salesforce and SalesLoft automation and full funnel reporting, leading to a 300% increase in sales qualified leads.

  • Overall, I had a great experience at Elucidat and it helped my get my first management role at Shadow-Soft.

2013-2015

Marketing Manager at Client Heartbeat

  • I had an exciting two years at Client Heartbeat where I led the marketing function. I thrived in a startup environment, wearing many hats and working closely with sales, customer success, and product teams. I played a key role in building Client Heartbeat’s demand generation strategy which focused on inbound marketing (website, content, SEO, email, webinars, and digital ads).

  • In addition to inbound marketing, I was responsible for all marketing activities including marketing collateral, trade shows and sales development.

  • From 2013 to 2015, monthly website users increased 100X and inbound inquiries increased 20X.

  • During my time at Big Richard I was responsible for search marketing, email marketing, website design and management, content marketing, SEO, and PR.

  • I had a great year at OZ Services Group. I overhauled the company's digital marketing, responsible for launching a new website and developing new search marketing campaigns (Google Adwords and SEO).
